I originally moved to Sheffield in 2012 to study a BA in Film and Media Production. After the completion of my BA, I began experimenting with other art forms, such as illustration and lino cutting. This eventually led to creating freelance graphic design work, which was mainly print-based advertising and promotional material, for local businesses. This was the initial spark for my passion for design and, after my hiatus from education, I decided to return to university in 2019 to begin my MA in graphic design.

 

As someone who had never had any previous education in design before my MA, I had to adapt and quickly progress over the course of my studies, which allowed me to gain many new skills and working knowledge that I can put towards my future career plans, which I plan to develop into a career based in graphic design for advertising or promotional marketing.
